I really like this post discussing being present in the moment and the impact of our undertaking photography on our enjoyment of the situation. It reminds me of an occasion when I was lucky enough to be photographing African wildlife, only to later realise that I had lived the whole experience through the lens and not appreciated the time I was there. Sometimes you just have to put the camera aside to appreciate what’s in front of you.
