‘Its not about the kit you use’ they say, ‘it’s all about the photographer’. Of the photos above, the scene and light in the top one grabbed my attention and I took it with my Bronica SQAi 6×6 with a little post processing just to lift it a bit for the visualisation I remembered. The lower photo is straight out the box, taken with my Fuji XE-1 by my 7 year old daughter. I would argue these aren’t too dissimilar. My daughter has never seen my photo although she was on the walk with me when I took it. Perhaps something about that scene lodged in her mind…..or perhaps it’s not even about the photographer, not this photographer at least, and I should just pack up and ‘step away from the camera’. Pah. Beginners luck.🤔😀
