It was wet and windy this morning with snow in the air. Despite huddling under my coat hood and rushing to be somewhere I was caught by the light reflecting off the wet pavement and the silver posts and stopped to grab the shot on my phone. A quick bit of processing and cropping in Snapseed and this is what I ended up with. For whatever reason this type of urban photography seems to be what pleases me at present and I find myself taking more of this stuff. Mostly because that’s where the opportunity lies for me but also I think, because of the story these images hold. Nothing spectacular in this story but it tells the story of the day, a record of its time, kind of documentary, and I find the dynamic of the composition pleasing.
