It seems it has been 6 months since I last commented on a photo here. Why is this? Have I not taken any shots? No. Clearly though, I have struggled to express myself creatively. I would like to have something to say about the photos I post here rather than just post for the sake of it and I seem to have struggled to be inspired. Thankfully now, I feel I have a few shots I would like to discuss so I’ll follow with these.

In this time however, I have been shooting more with film. Has this been the cause of my lack of creative expression? No, I dont think so. It has more been a simple reflection of the time available to me and my not feeling creative enough to come up with some text for my images. I am finding the use of film cameras very enjoyable at present and, whilst still using digital (and having changed my phone also), I am beginning to experiment with using different films. I will reflect on this more in future posts. Just shooting images to try out films (and cameras) has though been a little uninspiring creatively.
