I came across another image recently which related to one I’d taken. I was directed to John Blakemore’s blog (https://www.johnblakemore.co.uk/blogs/news) recently after describing my consideration of light and the beautiful lighting situations found around the home during lockdown. John’s leading image in his first blog ‘Interior light 1’ (https://www.johnblakemore.co.uk/blogs/news/interior-light-1) reminded me very much of my own below which I had also taken whilst trying to satiate my photographic itch during lockdown.

Again, it was comforting to see that such an apparently mundane content could warrant publication by an eminent commentator. This gives me some confidence to reproduce mine here if only to show a similar observation.

I took a few images over lockdown which I enjoy looking at despite their mundane content, emphasising the moments of light lighting up my day. Thanks John! Perhaps my washing machine image might yet make it out here?!
