Glendrian – marks in the landscape

The remains of dwellings, the remains of culture, now just marks in the landscape. So sits Glendrian, an abandoned settlement on the west coast of Scotland, testimony to the rigours of life in this remote, rocky landscape.

The marks of humanity echo the landscape within which they reside, mirroring the shapes in the rockforms themselves . Or is it the landscape reclaiming its own and subsuming it in place….
