Spending a few quiet moments in the back garden recently, I noticed the lovely light in the grasses we have let grow wild this year. I decided to grab my camera and spent a lovely 30mins or so just playing with the highlights in these grasses and isolating different grasses and flower heads.

I really enjoy the results; to me they have depth and dynamism, and I get a feeling of immersion and uplift. It just goes to show that you can still make delightful imagery that pleases the soul close to home.
